Shipping and Returns

Customer service is our number one priority, we want every customer to know exactly what happens when an order is submitted. The following also includes details about the packing and shipping process with return and warranty information.

Where do you ship?

We ship across Canada & USA. Yes, we also ship to PO boxes.

Where do orders ship from?

All of our jewelry ships from Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

How are orders shipped?

We ship using either Canada Post Lettermail or Registered Mail.

How much does shipping cost?

Canadian shipping and handling rate chart is as follows:

How long does shipping take?

Order processing takes 1 business day. Shipping within Canada takes between 3-5 business days. Shipping within USA takes between 3-8 business days. Please keep in mind that weekends and statutory holidays are not included in shipping and processing times.

What currency is used?

All prices are in Canadian CAD dollars.

What happens after an order is placed?

1.) When you have filled out your billing and shipping information and clicked the continue button, your credit card will be charged immediately using SSL encryption which is the safest possible way to complete a transaction. Your credit card number is never stored for any period of time therefore it's impossible for anyone to intercept your personal information when placing an order on our website.

2.) You will automatically receive an order confirmation email. Please verify the information to make sure it is correct. We cannot be held responsible for orders that are lost due to an incorrect address! If something is incorrect, please contact us immediately to correct the address.

3.) Every morning, the previous day's orders are printed out on a packing slip and then picked in chronological order by a staff member in the warehouse who gathers each item according to SKU number.

4.) Each item is inserted into a black velvet gift bag with a drawstring and then placed into a bubble padded envelope. The shipping label is placed on the envelope, the packing list goes inside and the envelope is sealed and placed in the shipping queue.

5.) Every afternoon, the envelopes are shipped with Canada Post in time to be sorted in that day's mail.

6.) After about 3-5 business days, you'll receive your envelope in the mail and you'll instantly become a Jamie Bentley Girl!

How is the jewelry packaged? 

Each product is placed in a black velvet gift bag and ships inside a brown bubble padded envelope.

Is it safe to use my credit card to make an order?

Yes, we have similar technology in place that banks use for their transactions. Your credit card will be charged immediately using SSL encryption which is the safest possible way to complete a transaction online. Your credit card number is never stored for any period of time by our company.

What is your return policy?

Customer satisfaction is extremely important to us. We also have confidence in our collection and we're sure you'll love your new jewelry but if for any reason you don't like it, please return it to us within 30 days for a refund or replacement. Unfortunately due to health regulations and for sanitary reasons, we cannot accept returns for earrings.

There is a 30 day warranty which covers defects in manufacturing. If your item arrives broken or breaks within 30 days, please return it to us and we will offer a refund or replacement.

How do I return something?

Make sure to keep the original brown shipping envelope, invoice packing slip and the velvet bag for the item. You will need all of these to complete the return. Write on the packing slip if you want a refund or replacement and why you are returning it.

Send us an email advising you have an item to return. Include your order number, name and the item you want to return. We will reply to your email usually within the same business day and advise you of the next step.

What happens if an item is sold out?

We have a control system to update the stock quantity however it is possible for an order to be placed and we have just sold out of the item. Since every product is not mass produced, a sold out item could take months before we get it back in stock. Sometimes we will discontinue a style to bring in a new one. If you purchase an item and it has sold out, we will contact you by email and ask if you want to get something else or have a refund for the item back to your credit card.
